Our Client is a global leader in subsea, onshore, offshore, and surface technologies. Based in Buckinghamshire, we are now seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on what will be a 12 month fixed-term contract basis. On offer to the successful application is a negotiable salary (albeit based on relevant experience), but circa £75K - £90K pa, together with a comprehensive benefits package, to include bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure strong internal controls.
• Develop and implements new systems to improve the efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of accounting operations.
• Provide direction to functional supervisors within the Accounting Group.
• Work with the business unit controllers to provide timely and accurate information for the preparation of financial statements and forecasts.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
• Interpret and analyses financial data, financial transactions, and events.
• Responsible for hedging all financial Risks.
• Responsible for all cash management operations.
• Analyse the cash flows per project, per suppliers, per clients.
• Responsible for the Treasury Forecast (Short and Long Term).
• Manage debt facilities.
• Prepare regular short and long term cash forecasts for the whole business.
• Develop the accuracy of all levels of cash flow forecasting on an iterative feedback basis.
• Develop working capital management processes.
• Manage the use of borrowing facilities and the investment of surplus cash balances efficiently.
• Review and participate in preparation of all necessary documents for external auditing.
• Ensuring that all invoices are raised in a timely manner by the AR/Billings Accountant
• Account for the monthly financial results for all projects belonging to that Business Unit(BU)
• Work with the PT MD / CFO to forecast cash receipts and cost forecasts, using this information to prepare forecasts, budgets and strategic plans in accordance with the Group and BU timetables

Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have a Degree in Accounting or a recognised financial qualification.
- Previous experience in Finance / Treasury commercial environment.
- Relevant supervisory experience in similar accounting environment.
- Knowledge of Accounting standards and principles, including month end closing processes.

Additional skills/background - but not essential.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Oracle general Ledger and Projects Experience
- Exposure to complex multi-company, multi-currency accounting
- Experience in construction/consulting projects
- GEOS Project experience
