Salary: £20,000-£24,000 dependant on expereince

The Fraud Analyst acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that fraud and risk issues/concerns within the organisation are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.

* Conduct objective, fair, thorough, unbiased and timely investigations into fraud alerts. Requesting,reviewing and researching evidence via systems and documentation.

* Develop new methods to identify fraud.

* Manages day-to-day investigations into PEP and sanction alerts.

* Manage the relationship with the credit reference agency and fraud prevention software suppliers.

* Compile MI and reports on a regular basis and ad-hoc basis, to keep Senior Management informed of the operation and progress of the risks and fraud activity of the company.

* Undertake system testing following upgrades, ensuring output data is accurate.

* Organise customer original documentation. Ensuring all documents are received within a timely manner.

* Assist with independent internal audits of client applications to ensure that compliance within the organisation is being appropriately adhered to and any issues are investigated and resolved.

* The ideal candidate should have demonstrable analytical skills along with a passion for research and investigative evidence analysis

The ideal candidate will be expereince with risk and fraud investigations and reporting.
Have a good understanding of fraud and AML compliance, be competant with Word, Excel and preferably SQL knowledge.
Expereinced in collation and analysis of management information and preparation of associated dashboards and reports.
