My clients are leaders in cutting edge technology based conveniently just off junction 27 M1 on the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire borders. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful management, planning and financial control of multiple Projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to budget and to the expected high standard of quality. The role of Project Manager will include liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels in a confidant manner.

You will be responsible for a small team of Project Engineers, to supply leadership and support where required.

The ideal candidate must be well educated, preferably to degree level and possess a strong background in Engineering. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator with good organisational, motivating and relationship building skills

The successful Project Manager will have at least 3-5 years' experience of successfully managing Projects and at least 2 years' experience of Team Management.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

* Lead a small team of Project Engineers

* Support and assist the Project Management team during the full project lifecycle

* Develop and maintain project plans and communicate these to the project team and key stakeholders

* Actively manage and update project timeline, risks and costs

* Review and manage risks/non-conformances and issues

* Schedule and coordinate periodic project status meetings and reporting

* Ability to source new and negotiate with suppliers and distributors

* Maintain a commercial focus and interest in our product markets

* Assist the sales force to develop and maintain customer relationships

* Ensure all project documentation is maintained and accurately kept up to date

* Degree in Engineering preferable
