The Role:
Responsible for the planning, scheduling & co-ordination of all maintenance, modification and installation activities on operated sites.

Duties:
Computer Maintenance Management System
Providing day to day management, programming, updating and co-ordination of the Site CMMS, to deliver maximum Plant availability and performance.
Ensuring engineering and maintenance reports, QA certification is recorded and electronically attached within the CMMS system in a timely manner.
Communicating with discipline Engineers to ensure technical issues are identified and captured on CMMS for future reference.
On going monitoring and measuring of the CMMS data.
Preparing a statistical report for the monthly management meeting, reporting on preventative maintenance, defect work orders and the current status of site safety critical maintenance activities.
Actively schedule and continually challenge, review and streamline the personnel planning and maintenance workload contained on the CMMS, ensuring only relevant tasks relating to maintenance and planning are detailed whilst effectively managing and prioritising the Safety Critical Equipment functions.
Continuous enhancement of the CMMS to improve and develop onto the new improved Q4 CMMS.
Deliver internal training & provide site support for the new Q4 system.

Planning
Take the lead role with the planning, execution and recording of daily maintenance activities (on/off site) ensuring performance and safety targets are maintained. In conjunction with the site Engineers produce, own & manage the site daily/weekly/monthly maintenance plan.
Support regulatory compliance with the archiving of all statutory, contractual, quality, legal, environmental & SHE standards & maintenance inspections.
Compilation and scheduling of providing long term look ahead overviews for maintenance and business functions.

Coordination
Maintain an effective team, working closely with all Operations personnel, contractors & other relevant personnel. Thereby ensuring work is completed correctly, safely, within the agreed time frame and minimising impact on plant availability.
To actively support the Outage Manager in co-ordination and monitoring of manpower and maintenance activities during plant outage periods, this maybe substitute with temporary arrangements as and when required.
Actively contribute to the successful management of the annual maintenance budget, ensuring contract and planning management information is reported in a timely manner.
To act as a principal point of contact on maintenance activities, providing high quality professional support to staff and contractors, monitoring their progress and reporting upon completion.
Prepare, collate and review RAMS ensuring that work packs are reviewed and submitted to the operations team in a timely manner.
As required, undertake small projects, including potential secondments to other sites, specialist projects and presentations to designated internal and external customers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
GCSE Maths and English grade A-C (or equivalent)
Hands on contributions in a high hazard 24/7 industrial process environment
Experience of planning and recording of maintenance activities and providing weekly/daily updates.
Communication, Co-ordination, Organised and management of 3rd party contractors.
Experience of coordinating manpower and maintenance activities, day to day and during outage periods.
Experience of contributing to and leading site meetings.
Small project/modification planning & co-ordination.
Meeting flexible targets & quality standards.
Compiling Engineering and Maintenance team performance reports.
Proficient to intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including data updates, improvements and changes.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering apprenticeship or other Engineering qualification
IOSH or equivalent safety qualification
Gas processing operations
COMAH site experience
Auditing
Contract tender process
Document control
Budgets
Awareness of Permit to Work Systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
