We are looking for highly analytical consumer internet expert, who has the ability to influence cross-functionally and deliver results.This position sits in the Consumer Marketing team, based in London and needs a thought leader who's passionate about consumer experiences. Our new colleague will be partnering with country Segments/Market leaders, country managers and you are focusing on growth and engagement. It's a highly matrixed role working closely with international teams like UXR, product & engineering, business development etc. Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies to drive go-to-market strategy and drive impact through marketing communicationsBe a leader with insights using a combination of behavioural data analyses and member research/insightsDirectly shape marketing strategy by developing deep audience expertise and serve as a champion for our members by leading research initiatives: analysing behavioural metrics, monitoring member insights, owning competitive insights etc. Manage a (remote) team of skilled PMM's i.e. Germany and UKEmbark on new areas for consumer growth and engagement leveraging performance marketing, community activators on LinkedIn, engagement, in-product channels etc. Work cross-functionally with research, analysis, product management & development,,, customer operations, PR, Editorial, business development to deliver integrated go-to-market strategies for new product features & releases, end-to-end product launches, as well as acquisition/engagement programsIdentify and test new reach and engagement mechanisms to inform future marketing strategyTest into new channels with the goal of diversifying the channel mix and identifying new levers that can be scaled. Channels may include in-product, mobile, social and online media, email, and partner marketingDevelop a deep understanding of the marketing landscape globally to design product and marketing best practices across multiple teamsOwn the subject matter expertise providing guidance and consultation to cross-functional teams to help them achieve business goals and objectivesThis role will require travel to the US West Coast and intensive collaboration with teams in the USBasic Qualifications:8+ years internet based, consumer/product marketing experience 2+ years team management experienceBusiness fluenct in English Preferred Qualifications:European languages (eg. German or French)BA/BS degree in marketing or related fieldAbility to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholdersExperience launching new internet productsConversant in multiple marketing channels; with deep knowledge of email, search, social media and in-productExperience with consumer internet product marketing, digital advertising, SEO and experientialSuperior audience-centricity and advocate for the member across the organisation; Comfortable with audience segmentation strategies Experience leveraging audience understanding to conceive marketing strategies across multiple channelsExpert in developing winning creative expression with internal and external partnersAbility to scope and prioritise market opportunities Expert knowledge collecting and using customer insights to drive strategic decisionsHands-on leadership style with a strong execution orientationHighly collaborative and a team player who has a persistent commitment to collaborate across teamsDiversity: LinkedIn is an inclusive employer for EVERY member of the global workforce.
