If that's you and what you're looking for, we'd love you to be part of our futureWhat you'll be doingAccountable for supporting the BT TV QA & delivery strategy to enable the achievement of the TV&BB transformation and ways of workingTo ensure best practice Behavioural Driven Developemnt (BDD)/CI/CD test strategies are in place, maintained and followed as appropriateacross all TV squads to support the best TV experience for our customer.To provide analytical and innovative input to products and have knowledge of the overall BT TV architecture To effectively prioritise own work, working within the demands across the BT TV squads to achieve best business outcomes.Deliver Show and Tells to the wider community across Converged Service Platforms to share knowledge and contribute.To input to the generation and implementation of continuous process improvement May be responsible for direct line management/coaching/development of analysts and/or contractorsWe'll also need to see these on your CVTest management principles Including Agile, Continuous Integration, Deployment and Behavioural driven testingGood understanding of different test strategies and the business benefits/risks of each (regression, functional, non-functional, soak, etc.)Knowledge of automation products and techniques.Test automation tools such as Selenium, STORM, Perfecto, etc.Automation Scripting (Python, Java)Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)Test reporting systems such as Jira, HipTest etc.Technical Problem solvingOrganisational and management skillsShares own expertise and provide guidance and support to others.Able to communicate effectively with a number of stakeholders.Completes own role independently &manages own timeApplies knowledge/skills to a range of standard and non-standard activities.Identifies solutions to non-standard tasks/queries.Adapts information/style to the audience, explaining difficult issues clearly, to establish consensus and gain agreement.Creates informal networks with key contacts.MANDATORY Software testing experience (Component, Integration and CX)Use of automation test toolsLeading medium/large test teamPREFERREDDevOps style approach to roleWorking in squadsUnderstanding of technologies used in TV, Media & BroadcastSoftware programming and networking experience Jira and Wiki toolsWhy choose us?We are in an incredibly competitive industry and it's not just the technology that's important, but the world of promise it creates for our customers.
