GCC - £42,868.68 - £49,775.52 (35 hours per week)
NHS - Grade 8A, £45,446 - £51,883 (37.5 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance or policy professional who has an understanding of the health and social care landscape in Scotland, and in particular integration. Working closely with the Chair, vice chair and members of the CIPFA Integration Joint Board Chief Finance Officers Section, (IJB CFO Section), this opportunity has arisen to provide financial policy support to the IJB CFO Section. The role is initially for a period of up to 3 years with the possibility of extension, following this the successful candidate will have the right to a permanent post in Finance within the Glasgow partnership. The main function is to co-ordinate and manage the business of the IJB CFO Section and support the sections approach to influencing and implementing national policy. The post will sit as part of a wider policy team which supports Health and Social Care Scotland. The postholder will be expected to work closely with the team to ensure strategic alignment of policy, and to drive the ambition and intent of health and social care integration. This will require thinking and planning at a strategic level. This post will involve close working with Scottish Government, in particular the Directorate of Health and Social Care Integration. Applicants must possess qualifications that support the essential core skills, knowledge and competencies for this post.
The post is hosted in Glasgow, with minimum supervision, and has option for flexible working.
This is an integrated position as part of the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership. The successful applicant may choose to be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either Glasgow City Council or NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The successful candidate will be required at times to work across Scotland.
