This is an exciting time to be joining Renfrewshire Council. The Council has committed its largest ever investment into its Road Asset Infrastructure with an ambitious £40million investment over the next 5 years complementing the Council's other significant regeneration initiatives and projects in Renfrewshire including the current £273 million City Deal projects in Renfrewshire, large scale heritage projects like Paisley Museum as well as numerous housing regeneration projects. We are expanding our Assets & Infrastructure team and need enthusiastic people with the skills and experience to deliver our ambitious agenda to provide maximum economic benefit for Renfrewshire.

You will have a passion for delivering large scale investment programmes and driving service improvements and organisational change.Based at Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley. The Capital Investment Delivery Manager will play a significant role in driving service improvement and organisational change within the Environment & Infrastructure Service within the Council. You will lead a wide range of investment projects including our Roads & Footways investment programme, SPT funding initiatives, Active Travel investments and Paisley Town Centre Transportation Infrastructure improvements.

You will develop the capital programme, ensuring that the strategic vision and direction of the service and Council are developed and delivered. To ensure the priorities of the Council are met and key Community Planning partnerships are developed and delivered that build capacity, support and protect the communities of Renfrewshire.Reporting to the Infrastructure, Transportation & Change Manager you will have responsibility for the development, maintenance and improvement of Renfrewshire's road asset infrastructure and a responsibility for leading service redesigns to support the delivery of this ambitious capital programme.

It is essential that you possess a relevant professional qualification in Roads, Transportation or Project Management. You must have effective organisational, time management skills, written and verbal communication skills; be able to demonstrate a track record of strategic financial and project management and have the ability to develop and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels in an organisation especially with senior Stakeholders.If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
