Job Description:

There are endless opportunities out there for Financial Advisors who seek their next career move; employed and self-employed vacancies; some offer back office support, others offer client leads and some offer both. Time and time again I speak to Advisors who were sold a dream that is yet to be delivered upon.

If you are looking for an employed proposition, with a trustworthy business that has high staff retention, an enviable reputation and a mature business outlook then this may be your ideal opportunity.

The role will see you receive a competitive annual salary whilst you hunt for new clients, build your network and write business. The salary will allow you to network and build without the stress of wandering how you will pay your mortgage and bills, all whilst working under a strong brand alongside some high performing colleagues who are all there to support your personal development.

About the Company:

Working for a fully independent company allows you the autonomy to manage your clients in the way that you want, and so long as the advice that you are providing is compliant, there is no set structure allowing you a lot of freedom.

You will of course need to have a demonstrable record of providing sound and client centric advice as well as strong knowledge of investment and pension products as around 90% of the business they write is pension and investment orientated.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • In order to be considered for the role you will need to have experience of working in a similar role within an IFA or wealth management environment.
  • You will need to hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally be working towards chartered, and hold CAS status.
  • Ideally you will have worked in a client facing role for a minimum of two years previously and hold an enviable track record in a similar role.
  • You will need to have an all-round knowledge of investment, pension and protection products and have the soft skills required to build and maintain relationships, spot opportunities and plan for different client requirements.
  • My client is looking for someone as equally ambitious as the rest of the team to provide a client centric service as well as someone who values continual learning and development in the forever changing world of financial advice.

Salary/Benefits Information:

My client is looking to pay a salary of £35,000 - £65,000 depending on your experience and what you can bring with you. There is an attractive bonus package in place which will see you earn once you reach validation which is set at 2.5 x salary.
