As a Compliance Manager, your role is to keep the Bank and our customers safe. You will be a key member of the Compliance Advisory Team, supporting teams across the Bank by providing timely and appropriate advice on FCA regulations, particularly the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR). This is a detail oriented role, focusing mainly on maintaining and developing our management and oversight of the SM&CR as the Bank continues to grow.
So what would you be doing?...
• Providing day to day advice on implications of FCA and other regulatory requirements as they apply to SM&CR and wider as required
• Supporting the Bank's regulatory change agenda
• Providing timely and pragmatic advice to make sure our SM&CR obligations are met
• Keeping fully up to date with SM&CR regulatory changes and interpreting and applying these appropriately• Providing support to Senior Manager Function holders on record keeping
• Develop and maintain live handover documents
• Participating in industry forums on SM&CR
• Supporting senior managers to track delegated responsibilities
• Managing conduct rules breaches and reporting

• Extensive experience within an Advisory Compliance role, with a particular focus on SM&CR• Experience in developing Management Responsibilities Maps and individual Statements of Responsibility
• Excellent knowledge of FCA and PRA handbooks/rulebooks
• Ability to interpret complex regulations into simplified text for colleagues
