A Junior 1st line Support / Graduate IT Helpdesk Engineer is needed to join a fast-growing managed service provider based in Cheshire. Due to ongoing success they are now seeking a Junior 1st line Support / Graduate IT Helpdesk Engineer to deliver a 1st class service.

The successful First Line Support / IT Helpdesk Engineer will ensure the provision of efficient and effective IT services that meet client needs. On a day-to-day basis expect to support clients remotely, assist in the design and costing of hardware and software solutions, performing routine maintenance (Server checks, Server Backups); PC/ Laptop installation, installing software or giving advice you will be key in providing excellent customer service to clients in a variety of sectors.

To qualify... We are looking for a Junior 1st line Support / Graduate IT Helpdesk Engineer / Service Desk Engineer / IT Technician / Technical Support Engineer or similar who can demonstrate:
  • Experience in a similar desktop /1st line support role;
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;
  • The willingness to learn and progress your career;
  • Knowledge of MS Office / Windows;
  • Basic knowledge of exchange messaging systems & Office 365;
  • An understanding of IP networking and associated technology would be a bonus;
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
