How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Every day at Worldpay is different so we are looking for someone who loves a challenge and can hit the ground running! You'll ensure to lead a technical team of gateway support consultants who provide gateway support to Small Medium Enterprises (SME) and Small corporate customers. This will also require you to provide comprehensive strategy to deliver appropriate level of support to the SME customer sector as defined by the business. It will be your responsibility to act as technical lead for the team and as the escalation point for customers. The new Gateway Technical Team Lead will also be required to be aware of changing technical trends within the payment processing industry as well as wider technical trends such as security, web/browser technologies, and mobile technologies
What will make you the ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate will develop, plan and implement activities that will enable a highly motivated and high performing team to deliver team objectives. You'll be experienced in leading by example and to setting the tone for the team as well as review each individual's performance to ensure they are meeting their specific objectives and ensure they have the right capability, (knowledge, skills and behaviours), to perform their role. Our new Gateway Technical Team Leader will need to prepare, analyse and act upon relevant management information to ensure the team meets the agreed service levels and objectives. Understand the regulatory controls and audit requirements needed to comply with Worldpay, FCA, PCI and legal policies and standards.
