Accounts Assistant £13,000 - £16,000

My client a well established Legal Company are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The main purpose of this role is to process payment for the business and provide general administration. No experience required!

Main Responsibilities:

*Cashiering- banking and raising cheques
*Allocating and transmitting CHAPS payments
*Taking payments for mortgage shortfalls over the telephone
*Investigating and resolving any balances on the ledgers after the files have completed
*Bank reconciliation/Billing
*General Administration

Key Skills Needed:

*Good attention to detail
*Good communication and customer service skills
*Numerate
*Assertive
*Ability to meet tight deadlines & work under pressure
*Good team player, but also ability to work on own initiative.
*Good organisational skills.
*Good data input skills.
*Previous Accounts clerk experience is not essential
*Flexible approach to work
