Delegate Sales Executive - UK Job Description A leading global publisher who provide engaging content in the form of events, print and online platforms across the mining and energy sectors and are at the forefront of the industry developments are seeking a delegate sales executive YOUR ROLE As the delegate sales executive you will be responsible for maximising the revenue opportunities across two global portfolios of events and ensuring the quality and quantity of attendees at the conferences and achieving revenue and end-user targets as set by the company. The role will involve reaching out to existing and new clients to find out what their priorities and challenges are and to match these with the benefits of attending the events. A part of the role will involve offering complimentary passes to certain attendee categories. * Understanding clients' challenges and matching these with the features of the conference * Delivering delegate revenue from both existing and new clients * Ensuring buy-side attendee numbers onsite as set out by the company * Tracking and reporting of sales results * Managing a pipeline of prospects and maintaining and updating the CRM system * Relaying clients' feedback to the Line Manager in 1-2-1 meetings and the wider team in project meetings YOUR KEY STAKEHOLDERS WILL INCLUDE: * Delegate Sales Manager & Delegate Sales Executives in London and Perth * Event Production & Operations team * Event Marketing Managers * Sponsorship team * Group Subscriptions Sales Director UK * Editorial Departments globally ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL HAVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE: * Excellent telephone manner and comfortable speaking to senior decision-makers * Quick learner; ability to grasp new concepts quickly * Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint * Experience of using Hubspot or a similar CRM platform DESIRABLE CRITERIA: * Good CRM maintenance skills * Previous Delegate Sales / Delegate Acquisition experience in a B2B environment * Any additional languages
