Agora Talent is proud to support this leading employer to find a Finance Analyst to support their operations.

As part of joining this business, you will be joining a world-class team with international operations, although local your contributions will feed into the group HQ and you will have exposure to the UK Senior Management team.

Your skillset will have ideally been honed in a large complex business with a product at its core, you will be working with the local Finance leader but will a direct relationship with the production and cost of goods.

Your role;
  • Provide timely, accurate and insightful information, analyses (e.g. benchmark, performance, new product costing etc.) and recommendations to the manufacturing teams and others, and clearly highlight actionable opportunities for improving profitability and working capital.
  • Drive cost awareness across the site by translating financial information into a story and operational targets.
  • Advocate LEAN business practices, driving out waste through the use of LEAN problem solving tools, practices and standard work across the analysis community.
  • Lead preparation, review of realistic forecasts on timely manner based on key drivers and identifying risks and opportunities to drive corrective actions.
  • Provide financial expertise for capital investment decisions and post completion analysis.
  • Coordinate the implementation of internal control activities liaising with internal control specialist and local management team.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and activities as directed.

The Individual:
  • Educated to undergraduate degree level in a finance/economics related subject or Part qualified in a recognized accounting qualification.
  • Possess advanced Excel skills and preferably SAP experience
  • Cost of sales experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Possess good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of customers with a differing knowledge base.
