If you answered YES, we're looking for a Finance Cash Analyst that will work across Drax Customer to join our team based in Northampton!

In this role, your key purpose will be to support the management and reporting of all aspects of finance related to cash including; monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting, debtors and cash collection management including collection metrics and bad debt provision calculation, bank reconciliation & payments and spend analysis.

Specific responsibilities will include;

* Providing insight and advice to senior management (finance and non-finance) on cash management with a focus on cash collection and debt management
* Preparation of monthly cash flow and bank reconciliations and the monthly cash forecast
* Preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecast models both short and long term
* Ownership of and reporting on debtor and cash collection KPI's
* Bad and doubtful debt provision calculations which will include compliance with IFRS
* Providing specialist advice and guidance on cash collection strategies

What background do you need to succeed?

The ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified and will ideally possess experience in a role focussed around cash management and collections. Experience in a commercial role within a PLC environment and/or the utilities sector would also be advantageous. Your previous positions will have provided you with exposure of cash forecasting systems that will enable you to identify and interpret key issues.

As this is a new role, you'll be a self-starter with the drive to ensure that your specialist knowledge is utilised across the organisation. An analytical individual you'll be able to identify key issues concerning cash collection and be able to simplify these complex topics and their impact to ensure engagement with a variety of stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and influencing skills will allow you to build close working relationships that will enable success in this role.
