Credit Control Team Leader - Salary £22,000 - £25,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Based: Tewkesbury

Our Client are a dynamic family owned business, have an exciting opportunity to recruit professional and motivated Credit Control Team leader to work within the Debt Collections Department. This role requires a flexible self-starter, with strong attention to detail and great communication skills, working with all levels of management internally and externally, building relationships, monitoring team performance and keeping management informed of any significant developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in a dynamic and fast paced department
  • Develop ideas to improve the performance of the department
  • Organising, Leading and training a team of 3
  • Pro-actively responding to queries from Managers and Employees
  • Provide updates and information to Management on team progress
  • Manage the day to day debt collection process for the group
  • Motivate team to meet individual and team KPI's
  • Initiate and undertake projects to improve operations
  • Work closely with other Depots, building relationships with external contacts and customers
  • Organise and attend regular customer and depot visits as required
  • Pro-actively manage accounts with our Legal team
  • Contribute and develop ideas to improve the performance of the department
  • Work closely with Sales teams as well as numerous corporate departments including, implementation of improvements in processes, IT/Systems and Finance
  • Any other duties as required by Management

Essential candidate Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ year's experience as a Credit Control Team Leader or similar
  • Experience of Managing and developing employees
  • Good Leadership skills and ability to think independently using your initiative
  • Problem solving and results-oriented
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, Sage, Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Good attention to detail, organisation and planning skills with a high level of numeracy
