** PART TIME ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ** PERM ** BIRMINGHAM ** £22K - £24K PRO RATA (£12.30 PER HOUR) **

Greenwellgleeson recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Assistant in a friendly office based in Birmingham City Centre. (18 hours per week, flexible on how the hours are worked)

Main Duties:
  • Posting invoices onto the accounting system - Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Petty Cash / Credit Card
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Sending statements and copy invoices - resolving queries
  • Journal posting
  • Debt chasing
  • Resolving account queries in a timely manner
  • Assisting with month and analysis and ad hoc tasks
  • Assistance with companywide project financial control
  • Preparing letters and emails

Requirements:
  • Previous Accounts Assistant experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communcation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion of accuracy
  • The ability to work accurately and to demanding deadlines
  • Sage 50 experience would be nice
