Life Opportunities Trust is looking for an immediately available part-time HR Administrator on a fixed-term contract for 3 months initially. The role will be part-time with flexibility on days and hours, with a minimum of 21 hours per week.

We work with some of the most vulnerable adults in the UK and so we need to recruit passionate, professional and capable people in our HR team to ensure that our people are able to fulfil their roles to the best of their ability.

We're looking for an experienced HR Administrator (responsible to the HR Advisor) who will hit the ground running and assist the HR Advisor with key transactional HR tasks and HR projects. This will include:

- Assist in generation of Contracts and Offer Letters

- Assisting with new starter pack administration including sending reference requests and liaising with new starters on their DBS application

- Dealing with day to day HR queries (holidays, pay as an example)

- Auditing Bank Staff files and check all information is up to date and escalate to HR Advisor where necessary

- General administration support to the HR Advisor and Executive Director

- Assist in monthly inputting of payroll changes on to our Moorepay system (starters, leavers and changes)

- Change to circumstances letters ready for HR Advisor to check and sign off

- Assisting with recruitment administration including scheduling interviews and preparing role advertisements

- Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when required

- Be able to work flexibly and manage a varied workload

- Be able to communicate confidently, and at all levels

- Be detailed orientated

- Be able to handle confidential information and keep information strictly confidential

- Be able to work on own initiative

- Possess excellent customer service skills

- Have previous experience in a similar role

- Have good knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR

- Have experience in using HR system - full training will be given on our Moorepay system

- Have experience in working with hard copy files

- Have working knowledge of DBS (advantageous)

- Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
