We are currently working exclusively for this engineering company in central bath who are looking to add a finance assistant to their accounts team.

They provide cutting edge technology to a number of different companies across multiple sectors worldwide.

They are looking for a hardworking and reliable person and will consider part time and full time applicants wishing to work between 25 and 37.5 hours

To be successful in this role you will be able to work autonomously and able to manage your time effectively whilst being a strong team player contributing to the Finance team and company objectives.

Reporting to the finance business partner your main responsibilities would include:
  • Processing personal & credit card expenses
  • Reconciling the credit card statement
  • Entering Sub-Contractor & purchase ledger invoices onto Access Dimensions, allocating to a PO or relevant PM approval
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Allocating sales and purchase ledger
  • Providing financial support to employees
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Administration such as setting up the occasional payment run

Key skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Proven experience covering the tasks outlined above.
  • Working towards an accounting qualification such as AAT desirable
