Parkdean Resorts was formed in November 2015 through the merger of Parkdean Holidays and Park Resorts. Parkdean Resorts own and operate 67 holiday parks across the UK, selling over 500,000 holidays pa. Annual turnover and EBITDA are currently c £500m and £115m respectively.

With holiday parks right across the UK, the business offers an unrivalled choice of holidays and short breaks. A wide range of accommodation options are available including static caravans, lodges and glamping, as well as touring and camping pitches.

Parkdean Resorts also offer ownership of caravans and lodges across 62 locations, so customers can own a holiday home at a park to suit their specific requirements.

The business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced interim professional to work on a business critical finance transformation for a period of up to 12 months.

Working as part of a high quality multi disciplinary project team, you will steer and advise to make things happen, rather than seeking direction and affirmation, although you will be required to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail at times. You will lead the review of O2C policies and procedures, promoting recommendations to achieve efficiencies in line with best practice (quick wins and longer term improvements), delivering best in class O2C solutions aligned to business requirements. You will also co-ordinate and direct dependent work streams, and translate complex pricing structures, recommendations and policies into commercially focused solutions embedded within the chosen technology.

Potential candidates will ideally be qualified accountants, or at minimum highly financially literate, with knowledge of best in class O2C processes. You should have led and driven a major finance transformation programme within a large organisation, and be capable of running large programmes incorporating a number of interlinked projects. You will thrive in high pressure, complex environments and be able to work to tight deadlines.

At a personal level you will possess strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively manage finance specialists as well as non-finance stakeholders.

Extensive commercial experience is taken as a given, and experience of Salesforce is desirable.

The business is seeking a candidate who can start in the role by the end of September.

A rate of c £400/500 a day is envisaged, although this will not be a barrier for the right person.
