Tax Advisor - Plc Environment - Nottingham - £40,000 - £60,000

Are you looking for a new Tax opportunity? Are you tired of focusing on VAT returns and compliance? Macildowie are recruiting for a CTA qualified Tax Professional for a major PLC in Nottingham.

This isn't just a "doing" role. The tax function in my client's business operates as more of an advisory function. They work closely with the finance function to ensure that they are applying the correct tax treatments all across the globe.

You will be a key point of contact within the business and you will manage the relationship with the external tax advisors as well. If the business aren't quite sure of the tax rules in Australia or Hong Kong, you'll be the person that comes up with the answer.

More than this though, you'll also get involved in interesting projects and deliver the transfer pricing calculations (or at least the tax element of it) You'll also be grown, developed, stretched and challenged.

The great thing about the business, is that they aren't looking for someone with ALL of the required skills. Everyone in the Tax function came from a generalist background and have honed and nurtured their skills over time.

They will consider people with direct or indirect tax experience. Someone making the first move out of practice or someone who has outgrown their current tax role in industry and wants a new challenge.

So if you have a professional tax qualification, and you want to find out more, why not get in touch, click "apply" and let's talk.
