An innovative IT company based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, which develops software and web sites are looking for an IT Helpdesk / Customer Support candidate.

Their core business is focused around our Windows based property management software which is installed at over 450 clients in the UK and Ireland. They also provide a web based front end interface to our products and develop and maintain web sites for over 200 of our clients.

They are seeking an individual to join their busy team. This role will be a hands-on position and require an individual who is self-motivated, resourceful and an excellent communicator.

The role will include the following:

Responding and managing support incidents related to the use of our software over the phone with remote connections to client's PCs, and also by email

Communicating progress and problems both internally and to client contacts

Completing assigned tasks on time and managing own tasks

Help investigate problems and liaise with the development team

Help with the creation of documentation such as Help Topics and Guides

Technical skills required:

Proficient in using PCs and Microsoft Windows

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel

Any skills with HTML / CSS / SQL / databases a bonus

Personal skills required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Confident in supporting customers remotely

Good time management, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Working hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, and a pension scheme. If you are interested in applying for this position, please send your cv or call
