Are you immediately available and looking for an opportunity in Payroll? Sheridan Maine are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join a public sector organisation based in the Warwickshire area on a 6 month temporary basis. The position is a fast-paced and challenging role that will provide the Payroll Team Leader with a great opportunity to develop a dynamic range of skills.

The Company

This large organisation has a payroll of a few thousand and is looking for someone to come in take on the role of supervising a small team of payroll administrators supporting the Payroll Manager. Ideal for anyone looking to develop further into potential payroll management and progress further.

About the Role

The Payroll Team Leader will support the monthly and weekly payroll whilst also covering the following duties:
- Supporting the end-to-end payroll for 4000 employees
- Resolving queries that occur through payroll
- Train, develop and motivate the Payroll Administrators
- Ability to prioritise queries to provide the most efficient outcome
- Manage escalation process

Person Specification

The ideal Payroll Team Leader
- Previous experience supervising payroll administrators
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate staff
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to solve problems efficiently

A competitive salary of £17-£18.50 p/h

As well as a competitive salary the Payroll Team Leader will get a great amount of exposure to a high volume payroll. The role will provide anyone with existing experience the opportunity to build on their knowledge.
