Its key that we establish the right supplier relationships and agreements necessary to create value, deliver cost efficiencies and ensure we have the commercial models to enable economic growth, whilst protecting BT from both financial and reputational damage.What you'll be doingCategory Management & Sourcing Execution for Technology Software SolutionsAccountable for commercial strategy & structuring and negotiating supplier contacts.Responsible for the relationship management of 2 x Platinum Suppliers.Comfortable with ambiguity and able to define and drive requirements both effectively and in a timely manner.Great at execution, results driven, and detail orientated.Stakeholder management & Change ManagementStrategic planning - driving successful answers and understanding the key strategic goals that will make the differenceWe'll also need to see these on your CVAbility to manage complex, strategic and commercial requirements between BT and Suppliers to realise key milestones around delivery of services and maintaining continuous service levels.Expert understanding around commercial models that pertain to Software to support BT business operations.Understanding and expertise in advanced and emerging technologies.Ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders on commercial services and sourcing approach.Relationship and negotiation skills required for leading complex pan-category negotiations with global suppliers.Effective communication skillsChange management skills to delivery transformation and operational excellence across the teamManagement of virtual teams to drive results.Professionally qualified (CIPS or equivalent) licensed buyer.Relevant skills and an in depth knowledge of procurement principles, and the ability to apply these as required in any area.Why choose us?We've always been an organisation with purpose; to use the power of communications to make a better world.
