Job ID : 99564BRLocation : United Kingdom - Paisley : Job DescriptionDue to an internal promotion we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Regional Senior Reward Manager to join our EMEA Total Rewards team based in our EMEA HQ in our Paisley site.The job: You will support the design, governance and administration solutions for compensation and benefits programs for the UK & Ireland, Nordics and the Emerging Market countries within EMEA. This geographic cluster covers approximately 10,000 employees.Given the matrixed nature of the company, the role will also include a business partnering aspect and you will be required to understand specific business needs and have responsibility for the delivery of well-considered compensation and benefits solutions and processes for assigned business divisions across the EMEA region.As a key member of the global Total Rewards team, this role will have accountability for wide ranging compensation & benefits activities across this region. Working collaboratively with both the business and HR and you will be required to understand specific business needs and have responsibility for the delivery of well-considered compensation and benefits solutions and processes. You will also support regional and / or global projects.What you will do:Lead the design and administration of the company's Reward programs in the assigned countries, in line with the corporate global principles and structuresEvaluate competitive practices and legislative updates, assess the company's position to market, and make recommendations to ensure that these plans are cost competitive and support the company's mission, values, and achievement of business objectivesManage the compensation infrastructure in the assigned countries, including - where applicable - the salary structures attached to the company's job architectureSupport the design of benefit plans across the countries within the region and enhance administration processes using process improvement methodologies. Introduce flexible benefits and total rewards technology to selected countries to improve employee experience and administration effectivenessDevelop, maintain and interpret policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits programs. Train HR colleagues and leaders in interpreting these policies.Partner with HR staff across the region to ensure employee understanding of salary administration, incentive, benefits and equity programs and performance management through training programs and regular communicationsAssist with Merger and Acquisition activity impacting the region, including the C&B integration of newly acquired companies, or assistance with Due Diligence reviews of potential targetsManage consulting relationships with external brokers, consultants etc. within the framework of global consulting agreements Who we are looking for:Degree qualified with extensive and progressive, professional level experience in compensation / benefit managementExperience designing and administering compensation/benefit programs essential (professional certification preferred)Demonstrated proficiency in the design and administration of base pay, incentive, benefits and equity programs is requiredAbility to perform research and effectively present options and recommendations to management In-depth knowledge of compensation theory and practice and knowledge of European benefits and compensation laws and regulations requiredResults driven, highly energetic, service oriented team player who can function effectively and independently in a fast paced dynamic environmentFunctional knowledge of corporate operations and product line as well as a full understanding of EMEA HR practicesFlexibility to meet the needs of the business which may include occasional travel What we offer:Contributory pension schemePrivate medical insuranceFlexible benefits schemeAnnual incentive planOn site subsidised gymFree parkingFlexible workingAbout us:As the world leader in serving science, our work is more than something that fills our days.
