Job Description:Summary:The role will report to the regional head of EMEA Trade Risk Distribution, who in turn reports to the regional Co-Head of GTS Product Management. The successful individual will support distribution of trade assets, working closely with market investors and the wider GTS Trade team. They will also work closely with Trade PSS and GTS Sales to define, set-up and run a Supplier Marketing & Onboarding function for Supply Chain Finance in the EMEA region.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:Work in a dynamic growing part of the GTS and wider GBAM franchiseHelp drive revenue and net income growth in Trade, which has been identified as a strategy growth area for the GTS businessInteract with the largest global corporations and regional financial institutions in EMEAGain significant exposure to senior business partners and leaders in EMEA across Trade, GTS Sales, and Corporate BankingSignificant exposure to holistic working capital solutions and how they fit with client objectivesGain significant industry and market exposureThe role provides excellent opportunities for future progression - either within the immediate Trade team in EMEA or globally, or into a role within the wider GTS or GBAM business.Role Responsibilities:Risk Distributionmanaging a portfolio of assets suitable for risk distribution and working closely with Trade PSS and Product to determine which assets require distribution and on what basisclosely aligning with GTS Sales and Corporate Banking to ensure distribution of assets to an appropriate investor base, with a bias for those with which GTS and the wider franchise have a strong and growing relationshipmanaging a portfolio of purchased assets and identifying quality assets in the market for risk participation in line with FI and Corporate strategyadvising the Trade Product and PSS teams on asset distribution strategy, as part of the structuring of primary trade deals - particularly FI Trade Loans and Supply Chain Financeperforming market reads to keep the Trade team and wider GTS, CBK & Risk organization updated on investor appetite and general performance of the Trade secondary marketregular monitoring a portfolio of distributed and purchased assets and working closely with Trade Operations and Middle Officesupport regular reporting of distributions, as well as quarterly risk and portfolio reviewsreviewing and checking documentation (such as participation agreements, etc.) in cooperation with Contract Management and LegalSCF Supplier Marketingdrive the growth in existing SCF programs through active marketing to supplierswork closely with GTS Sales, Trade PSS and clients to agree supplier strategy and then own the targeting, marketing and onboarding of new suppliersidentify target suppliers and prioritize for marketing and onboardingsupport deal teams in pitching for new SCF programs, focusing on positioning our proactive approach to supplier onboardingactively monitor and manage SCF programs through tracking of buyer risk trends and ensuring full supplier KYC etc. remains on fileCompetencies:Experience in influencing and leading virtual teams such as GTS Sales, CBK partners, GTS Fulfilment and clientsStrong background in project managementProven track record in client management and ability to operate in a client-centric mannerStrong grasp of critical principles of risk management and compliance / anti-money laundering.Customer centric approach balancing risk, profitability and responsible growthStrong relationship management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and oralWell developed presentational skills to both internal stakeholders and external clientsNumerate with strong ability to manage financialsA self-starter who can also work with other interdependent groupsAbility to work in a high pressure, deadline orientated environmentComfortable interacting with senior managementSkills we look for:Essential Skills Experience in Trade Finance and/or transaction services more broadly, with particular preference for working knowledge of risk distribution and market knowledge of investorsUnderstanding of the core Trade Finance product suite including traditional trade products, supply chain finance and risk distributionProven track record in managing clientsNice to haveUnderstanding of broader range of international cash management products and servicesProject management qualificationsSupplier onboarding experienceBackground in credit underwriting and credit risk managementLanguage skillsGood conduct and sound judgment is crucial to our long term success.
