Responsible for annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets, operational direction and financial performance in assigned country. Establish strategy and objectives, coordinating with organizational goals and standards. The Country Director is the senior executive responsible for all activities in country. In all areas, the Country Director will be expected to bring an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to developing and integrating systems and processes into a growing and dynamic organization.Responsibilities:•Identifies and develops business opportunities within country, and aligns with cross-country opportunities. Identifies short and long term business strategies.•Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and negotiating agreements with key external stakeholders including government officials or agencies, key business partners, etc.•Manage global brands locally. Build new productive business relationships with media and advertising agencies, ad networks and direct clients.•Understand local customer insight. Take action and provide education on insight across organizations as needed.•Oversees directly the SMB sales, business development, marketing and account management teams. In addition responsible for country oversight of entire country within a matrix structure for all other functions. Inspires local team to meet and exceed business objectives.•Manages and aligns culture, environment, facilities within country with EMEA and corporate cross-functional leaders on overall philosophy and strategy. Educates others on local in country requirements. Act effectively at the local level, yet understand global platforms and contribute to strategic initiatives through local insight.•Provides leadership, guidance and direction to the country's leadership team through a matrix structure. Focus on strategic planning, advice and consultative services.•Create and execute on the operational vision around volumes, metrics, staffing, etc. Ensure that quality standards are developed and applied to all activities and establish appropriate metrics.•Works with the GM of EMEA and finance and accounting department to insure adequate estimates, forecasts, and calculations of ARR and expenses against budget planning and tracking. Develop and manage budget exploring ways to reduce cost while maintaining high level of quality. Owns full accountability of P&L for country.•Create communication plan for engaging various groups within Concur (ie Executives, Managers, HR team) on status of business and market changes.•Translate the company vision into action through influence at all levels of the organization.•Exhibit and lead with strong change management skills.Position Requirements: Education, Experience & Training required: • University degree, or equivalent work experience in a fast paced, high performing environment.•MBA preferred.•Solid experience in both operations and business development within the technology industry.•Extensive experience in a sales or business development role.•Management experience, or demonstrated effectiveness to meet the managerial expectations.Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills: •Strong leadership skills •Strong working knowledge of in country operations•Excellent customer relationship and partnering skills•Excellent presentation and facilitation skills•Strong understanding of business planning, financial management and the key drivers for success•Strong passion and commitment to quality hires with demonstrated results•Excellent management skills and ability to grow and lead high performing teams•Ability to effectively manage external relationships and partnershipsWHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
