Job Description - Account Controller (180002L3)Job Description Account Controller 180002L3Summary of RoleWe are seeking to recruit experienced individuals to join the Specialty client service team in Willis Re. The successful candidate will handle Client accounts on behalf of our global client base. We require pro-active and driven individuals to ensure that new and existing accounts are serviced to the highest standards in order to enhance our service and continue to grow our business.The RoleEnsure that balances are collected and paid in accordance with the contractual requirements of pre-defined service standardsEnsure the secure, efficient and auditable handling of client's moniesMaintain up to date and accurate recordsOwn the fiscal relationship for designated clients. Act as the main point of contact for all matters relating to financial movementsActively service accounts to a high standard and within deadlines. Ensure timely collection and payment of monies due to / from clients within a designated portfolio; reconciliation, chasing and minimisation of funding to ensure financial metrics are achieved.Use MI to identify debtor related problems and escalate / negotiate / influence where necessary to resolve.Review and allocate cash on a daily basisEnsure compliance with Willis Towers Watson internal accounting and settlement procedures and external (FCA and SOX) regulationsMaintain ongoing relationships with assigned clientsLiaise with Client Service Managers and other colleagues as appropriate to ensure Business Unit targets metEscalate issues to Client Service Manager / Operations Director / Account Executive as appropriateWhere required, perform accurate authorising in accordance with the Payment Authorisation ManualComplete Account Controller core requirements reviews where appropriateAdhere to standardised Group policies and procedures, Accounting and Settlement fundamentals, including all CEM, sanctions touch points and other regulatory requirements The RequirementsEducated to A level standard or relevant industry experience as a minimum according to the roleIntermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office)Exceptional Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)Reinsurance knowledge / ExperienceAttention to DetailAbility to Organise and PrioritiseAbility to work in a team and autonomously; and general willingness to learn and growAbility to build strong working relationships with both brokers and clientsGood Time Management skillsTechnical knowledge of Reinsurance policies pertinent to your business unitEqual Opportunity Employer Job: Operations Primary Location: United Kingdom-England-Ipswich Schedule: Full-time
