MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis is a key position within the Talent Acquisition team and plays an integral part in the embedding of an integrated international talent acquisition offering. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, HR, and our shared service centre, this role will be responsible talent identification, sourcing, selection and strategy integration.The individual will be responsible for facilitating a 'best in class' recruitment experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. This exciting role offers a huge degree of variety, with the post holder helping to facilitate talent acquisition activity across our corporate and business services teams. The Recruitment Partner will offer a consultative approach based on service excellence, owning a portfolio of vacancies end to end, using best practice recruitment tools and techniques, deftly interviewing for not only skills but values aligned to the role and our firm, to ensure that all roles are filled in a timely basis, with the right candidate and within budget. Provide expertise in talent acquisition; delivering a quality service to the business, as well as an excellent recruitment experience to all candidatesManage the full recruitment process and life-cycle; from role identification through to candidate offer, on-boarding and induction, in conjunction with hiring managers, local HR representatives and the shared service teamEnsure our internationally consistent standard and approach is deployed, ensuring that DLA Piper operates and embeds best practise resourcing methodologiesProvide commercial and pragmatic advice to the business and work with them and your colleagues to develop acquisition solutionsDefine individual sourcing strategies, driving online media, branding and direct attraction methodologies thereby reducing our hiring costs and driving our external brandFacilitate the selection and assessment approach for lateral hiring. Drive quality, fairness and consistency across the selection and assessment of internal and external talentEnsure that Hiring Managers and the firm's Partners have the tools, technology and skills necessary to operate within the DLA Piper Value proposition, legislation and best practiceAs part of the international EVP and employer brand initiative, continually enhance and market a compelling employee value proposition both internally and externallyDrive a diverse and inclusive approach to talent acquisition, ensuring hiring decisions are ethical and without bias or discriminationCollaborate with colleagues to maintain and refine the firm's supplier pool, ensuring that any agencies used are best-in-class, truly represent our firm and understand our ways of working to deliver the optimum outcomes when we need to engage their services ABOUT YOUA sound knowledge of human resource fundamentals, with a solid focus on all aspects of talent acquisition. This would be developed through a combination of experience in an in-house and previous recruitment consultancy role(s). A proven track record across multiple sites, varied skill sets and multiple and varied client groups. Proficient at managing multiple end-to-end vacancies from pre-approval through to induction covering a range of grades, functions and skill sets within a corporate environmentAn understanding of applicable employment law and talent acquisition best practice.
