Great opportunities.Want to be part of our team?The purpose of the role is to help the UK and Ireland businesses maximise their revenue and margin opportunity through catalogue and bespoke services.The role has two key areas of responsibility:• Services product lifecycle management of Support and Managed Catalogue services• Design support for bespoke service offerings to clientsThe scope of the role is the UK and Ireland business and reports in to the UK&I Services Portfolio Manager.In the course of the role's duties, domestic and international travel will be required, though it's expected that the majority of travel requirements will be domestic and no more than 25% of the time. Candidates will need to have and maintain a driving license and valid passport as pre-requisites for the role.What you'll be doingUnder the two key areas of responsibility, the Service Enablement Specialist has the following requirements:Services product lifecycle managementResponsible for:Managing the in-country enablement of new Support and Managed Services to the Dimension Data Services CatalogueManaging the in-country retirement of Support and Managed Services from the Dimension Data Services CatalogueIn-life defect identification and resolution of issues with Catalogue servicesContributor to:Regional discussions and decisions relating to the enablement of new, or retirement of outgoing, Support and Managed Services for the Dimension Data Services CatalogueNew product definition for new services the Services CatalogueBusiness cases, impact assessments and evaluation criteria for introducing new services and product support to the Services CatalogueIn-country impact assessment of retiring services from the Services CatalogueIn-life business performance of Catalogue servicesDesign supportResponsible for:Supporting Service Architects on complex and bespoke managed service opportunitiesValidation of Service Architects' mapping of requirements to catalogue services and identification of bespoke requirementsDecision maker on need to produce a low level designDevelops low level design, including delivery model, order entry criteria and bespoke / revised costingsProvides completed low level design for Service Architects and Service TransitionProvides design support for Service TransitionSupports Service Architect for any EU Service Delivery Assurance conversationsSupports Service Architect in understanding costsSupports Service Architect in producing/completing EU's Service Design Concept templateAd hoc client engagement as required to maximise win-chancesBusiness initiatives and department improvementsActively seek, identify and contribute to opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements to the Service Enablement function and other parts of the business where we interact and have dependenciesWhat would make you a good fit for this role?havioural skillsAs corporate citizens, they display assertiveness and are able to engage with all levels in the organisation. This employee has sound negotiation and influencing skills and has the ability to work successfully in a facilitation role.Service ManagementStrong experience of ITIL v3, in both understanding and applicationService DesignStrong understanding of service delivery elements (people, processes and toolsets) and the ability to translate client requirements into a deliverable service modelProduct lifecycle managementGood understanding of the stages of a (service) product's lifecycle and the dependencies and impact when migrating between versions and services on both the client experience and company's revenuesProject managementMethodical approach to projects and underlying tasks and the ability to structure them into an ordered and deliverable plan. Experience of SAFe Agile will be an advantageClient collaboration - internal and external clientsStrong performer in presentation skills and collaborating across all mediums (face to face, video conferencing and audio conferencing)Business toolsProficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications. In particular, good level of familiarity and use of Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Word.
