You will do this by delivering leading-edge technology to build and deliver unparalleled customised insights that enrich both the performance of businesses and the lives of consumers.About the JobWe will give you the opportunity to drive innovation and process improvement across the enterprise as part of our Global Procurement Sourcing Services function.As our Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for providing innovative and strategic sourcing strategies including indirect spend, vendor due diligence, risk assessment and supplier quality management. You will negotiate, develop and oversee contracts. You will guide the development, design and organisation of multiple and major supply streams and contractual processes. This will involve developing regional strategies and processes for managing external service providers. To succeed in this role, you will exhibit leadership skills and be able to build positive and collaborative relationships with both our internal business partners and as well as our suppliers.Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager include:You will have responsibility for leading the European strategic sourcing process, which includes managing high value spot orders, developing and negotiating supplier agreements and sourcing and costing strategies across multiple geographies and commoditiesYou will execute procurement processes that includes regionalising sourcing strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiation, supplier implementation and long-term category planningYou will leverage spend across Business units by the implementation of National and International agreements to reduce cost and increase efficiencyYou will localise and implement sourcing strategies based on market analysis, business requirements and Global Procurement objectivesYou will implement processes and procedures as identified by Global Procurement and measuring the success of the department through the establishment of performance metrics, including developing our spend analytics reportingYou will lead process improvements and process re-engineering initiatives that are focused on reducing costs and enhancements to our service or operationsRequirements Required Skills:Proven experience in a Procurement/Sourcing functionExperience in sourcing or contract managementProject management experiencePreferred Skills:Bachelor's degree in a related fieldFinancial Services industry experienceFluency in SpanishMCIPS qualificationExperience in contract negotiations to include business, price and technical termsExperience in drafting contract documentsExperience leading and/or participating in cross functional teamsWhat Else?
