Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Tourism and Marketing
The Faculty of Business and Law is formed of two Schools. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Tourism and Marketing to join the School of Management within the subject area of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Tourism. We are committed to ensuring our teaching and research makes a real impact; shaping and influencing policy and developing the next generation of responsible leaders and organisations capable of transforming business and society. We deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching via face to face, blended, distance learning and apprenticeship programmes.We're looking for a colleague to join our friendly team to teach tourism marketing and sustainability modules. You'll have successful teaching experience at HR level and/or relevant commercial and/or professional experience and have a proven record of Research output and Publications (essential for Senior Lecturer grade). We're currently developing a new curriculum for 2020 so we're interested to hear what specialist areas of study you could bring to our team.With a degree plus a PhD or Professional Doctorate (For Lecturer grade 5 PhD nearing completion within the first 18 months of employment), it is highly desirable that you have experience of supervising research students and have at least one completion.We have an active research community and we are also keen to hear about your network, your research interests and your recent research income from bids or consultancy.If you are a team player, resilient, open to change and helping us to continually improve our practice and the student experience, then we would love to hear from you.
