We need you to help us do this.Why this role mattersThe Senior Manager, Fibre First, Insights & Analysis will be the decision maker on analytical performance and insights across Fibre First Programme. The role holder will be responsible for developing target measures of success against the various strategic programmes or initiatives pan Fibre First and analysing our performance against them which can be reported to the Fibre First Director and Fibre First Board.What you'll be doingAccountable for gaining insights from other units and evaluating their accuracy and utilising this data to inform the broader Fibre First agenda • Responsible for developing target measures of success against the various strategic programmes or initiaves pan Fibre First and analysing our performance against them which can be reported to the Fibre First Director and Fibre First Board • Decision maker on insight priorities, by project, initiative or criticality to the full fibre programme• Accountable for developing the design and development of how we measure performance and outcomes pan Openreach for Fibre First/FTTP • Decides upon relevant insight to turn into actionable opportunities for the Fibre First team and builds into plans to support decision making at Director & MD level • Accountable for interpreting, analysing and investigating information and issues across the large data ranges across Openreach in reference to FTTP/Full fibre deployment • Accountable for building and designing new reports on demand to agreed standards and timescales utilising a variety of data sources, ensuring integrity of data• Accountable for undertaking deep dive activity in any unit on any activity to identify issues, manage interventions, correct problems or provide proposals for solutions to feedback into the Fibre First Director • Responsible for translating business opportunities into fit for purpose insight that is feasible for delivery Pan Openreach or pan initiave • Responsible for liaising with key stakeholders, developing relationships across all units of Openreach, in particular the fellow analysis and insight partners • Responsible for maintaining an expert knowledge of key compliance, performance and quality measures and their driversWe'll also need to see these on your CV• Expert technical skills held include SQL, Excel, Powerpoint, data interpretation & visualisation, metric & process knowledge, problem solving ability• Responsible for maintaining an expert knowledge of key compliance, performance and quality measures and their drivers.• Excellent understanding and use of analytical tools, techniques and behaviours.• Demonstrable experience working on high profile, strategically important projects, including solving complex, unstructured problems• Subject matter expert on operational key performance indicators across Fibre First/FTTP/Fibre Cities programmes • Previous experience working on programmes with large data sets• Previous experience identifying solutions to complex problems and programmes and presenting recommendations upto MD level • Internal experience of negotiating and influencing at a senior level Why choose us?Openreach is Britain's digital network business.
