To mentor, guide, monitor and develop the team in a way that promotes Dematic values and behaviours whilst supporting the requirements and activities of our customers to deliver in full, on time, every time.Recognise the customers values and what is critical to quality in order for the customer to succeed and provide an environment and framework of service excellence in which these targets can be achieved.Key responsibilities:Talent management and developing the team of maintenance technicians and assistants. Implimenting a succession planning model and creating a best in class site teamEnsuring the site and team comply with all required health and safety legislation and policies.Deliver KPI's and manage costs on site to deliver / exceed the agreed contract with the customer on or under budgetMaintain records for accurate management of PUWER and LOLER for example as well as managing CE directive requirements Give technical direction and support to the engineers to ensure planned maintenance is carried out effectively and reactive fault management is delivered quicklyUtilise LEAN methodologies to deliver continuous improvement to the site, driving a proactive culture through the teamManage the relationship with the customer operations team What We Are Looking ForThis is a highly demanding but rewarding position.To be successful in it you will be apprentice trained or have a qualification in engineering (HNC / HND degree) with a passion for managing and developing a maintenance team ideally within an automated warehouse. You will have a track record of LEAN initiatives and CI execution.
