Technical Customer Support Advisor: A customer focused, commercially minded Technical Customer Support Advisor is required to provide a professional, empathetic B2C telephone based support service to customers of a renowned manufacturer of industry leading engineering equipment based in Andover.

The ideal Customer Support Advisor will have a naturally warm and engaging telephone manner with a desire to make the customers' journey as efficient and pleasant as possible. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in engineering gained in the automotive / production / engineering / manufacturing industry. Acting as the first point of contact for all technical enquiries the ability to remain calm under pressure is an essential requirement of the role. Full product training will be provided to the right candidate alongside the opportunity to build and progress your career as the company continues its exceptional growth trajectory from a start-up 6 years ago to a £26m turnover company today.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure an exceptional customer centric experience is delivered at all times

Where possible diagnose technical issues offering customers relevant mechanical remedial advice

Liaise with internal departments to provide a joined-up approach to customer assistance, owning issues through to resolution

Ensure all systems are accurate and up to date

Answering all inbound customer calls

Ensuring customers are fully up to date throughout each stage of the order process

Managing tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines

Skills and Experience:

Previous customer service experience, preferably from a servicing or manufacturing background

Experience in a similar customer-focussed role

Experience using and updating CRM systems

Highly organised & accurate with strong attention to detail

A passion for providing the highest level of customer service

A self-starter with excellent communication skills

Adaptable, flexible and able to multi-task successfully in a fast-paced environment

Able to establish great working relationships with colleagues and customers alike

A proactive approach and a can-do attitude with an eye for detail

Highly IT literate with an aptitude and willingness to learn new technology.
