Business Services Manager (PMO Lead)

To lead the Business Management Functions in delivery of the Enriched Uranium Programme:

* Programme Management Office

* Project Controls

* Finance

* IT

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively leading the business management functions.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the Programme Management Office

* Programme and Project Business Case Production and Sanction & Validation

* Define processes and procedures for implementation across the programme including business case production, sanctioning, scheduling, estimating, risk and opportunity management, financial forecasting, time recording, change control

* Creates and maintains project financial data and manages it throughout the programme lifecycle

* Interface with commercial colleagues to support administration of the contracts with the Client

* Define programme key performance indicators for the programme and cascade into the projects

* Define requirements for production of the monthly programme and project reports to client requirements and provide accurate monthly forecasts of cost, schedule, and resource utilisation for the programme

* Implement AECOM corporate requirement for revenue recognition, financial reporting and forecasting

* Support Programme and Project Boards

* Implement project control systems to facilitate programme and project earned value performance reporting

* Identify potential project problems or opportunities, analysis of the issues making use of all appropriate resources, develop alternatives, and arrive at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities

Requirements:

* Excellent leadership, high level of resilience, delivery focused, results orientated and organisational skills

* Broad project controls experience

* Leadership of multi-disciplinary team

* Strong deliver focus

* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Preferred

* Experience in the nuclear sector however experience is highly desirable

* Demonstrable experience gained in an alternative complex highly regulated environment such as defence, chemical or oil and gas would provide a sound foundation from which to be successful in this role

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline OR demonstrated equivalent qualification and experience combination

* Due to the nature of the role and the client, it is important that all applications have resided in the UK for at least 5 years. We need all candidates to ideally be Security Cleared (SC) or have no issue in obtaining SC. A prerequisite for SC is that the applicant has lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years
