A leading global software brand is searching for a Global Travel Manager to join its team, and assist with a number of exciting and global procurement and supplier programmes. One core activity within this project will include the pilot and go-live planning for their newly implemented travel platform, Egencia. You will be a professional that can efficiently procure global partners as part of this programme for air, car and hotel bookings acrross major cities including Chicago, UK, Sweden, Singapore and Sri Lanka.

You will also be able to transform and automate procurement processes whilst providing governance; negotiate supplier deals to the most negotiable rates for the business; produce cost-savings for the business; and drive adoption of approved supplier agreements / contracts within key markets.

This is an exciting 3 month contract with a global business, working as part of a collaborative team on varied, global projects.

Overview
  • Strategic management of the following:
    • Global Travel Provider/GDS Portal Management (policies, traveller profiles, approval exceptions, travel contracts, news and alerts, optimised travel routes)
    • Preferred Travel Contracts (leverage routes/key location contracts for air, car, hotel, conference facilities)
    • Meetings & Events (coordination and promotion of strategic events management from group bookings to concierge-level enterprise-scale conferences (including duty of care and coordination with Corporate Security)
    • Fleet Management (strategic, optimised management of existing fleet and evolution of allowance-based schemes)
    • Card Management (control and strategic leverage of travel and corporate card schemes for enhanced payment settlement and leveraged spend/rebate programmmes)

Experience Required
  • BA/BS in business or related degree
  • travel category management Experience
  • C-Level influencing abilities
  • Strong understanding of GDS' and global travel markets
  • ability to negotiate air/car/hotel master supply agreements, preferred route fare arrangements, event and conference agreements
  • GDS travel portal SME
  • ERP (iProcurement/iExpenses/iSupplier) experience (Desired)
