Contract Type
Full Time
I'm looking for a Lead Automation Engineer to join a new tech business in Nottingham City Centre to take ownership of their QA strategy and also oversee a small team. With a new product offering that's set to make huge waves within its industry.. this is a fab chance to join a forward-thinking business and play a key part in their evolution!

Firstly - my client work with an ethos of "doing things right" so its important that you share this mind-set and you take quality seriously. Their system has been built from ground up using all of the very latest tools, techniques and frameworks and they're looking for someone who has a genuine passion for building the best software that they can. You'll be a proven, hands-on Automation enthusiast with a good handle on more than one Automation framework or product, along a natural aptitude for coding. This is absolutely key as we need somebody who is able to review production code passed through by the Dev team, so we're really after someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and be all hands on deck! It's a small, yet talented team so I'm also looking for someone who can develop and motivate the Junior QA's in the team and constantly inspire better ways of working.

You'll be passionate about new tech trends, techniques and upcoming innovations in the world of QA. These guys envisage that their future stack will include significant investment in AI technologies, particularly in the area of "robo advice" and machine learning.. it truly is an exciting place to be. Not only this but you'll rub shoulders with some of the most talented technologists in the local market in a fun, friendly, non-corporate environment where everyone shares a real passion for what they do.

In return you'll receive a basic salary of £60k plus bonus scheme, flexible benefits and your very own MacBook Pro. They are also open to flexible working hours and you'll receive your very own MSDN subscription and PluralSight access.

Oh... and your very own annual personal development budget (that can be used for anything within reason!) You'll also have the option of using 10% of your time for personal development and R&D and conference attendance is fully encouraged and supported.
