IT Applications Manager - Milton Keynes

Due to extensive growth The Medical Research Network are looking to recruit an experienced IT Applications Manager to join our talented Head Office team in Milton Keynes.

Reporting to the Director of BI and R&D, the objective of the role is to provide new and validated applications into the organisation, primarily to improve efficiency and then ensure the user community is adequately supported. The successful applicant will also have line management responsibility for a small team, so alongside your technical expertise, you will need to be an inspiring and engaging communicator.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Experience of working as an IT Manager in a highly regulated environment

· A strong understanding of Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) terminology

· Good understanding of how to develop and manage system integration and interfaces

· Strong analytical skills and an understanding of business processes

· Experience in Agile development methodologies

· The ability to successfully engage, manage, coach and develop a team

· Confident communication skills both written and verbal, including report writing
