· Senior Project Sales Engineer

· Package; Basic salary up to £45,000 plus benefits

· Location; North West office (candidates are commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Warrington, Wigan, Stoke, Crewe and surrounding areas)

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of mechanical components and systems within the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Process industries. They are rapidly growing and extremely profitable due to their strong technical ability and wide product appeal.

They sell to all areas of the market via agents, contractors, distributors and also OEM's. They have experienced substantial growth and are now looking to expand their team by recruiting an experienced Senior Internal Sales Engineer.

The ideal candidate:

· You will have a strong mechanical engineering background and qualifications

· You will have proven experience selling a technical product

· You will have experience in working with oil and gas and process customers (desirable)

· The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with customers within an associated sector, which could be pumps, valves, instrumentation or similar.

The role:

· You will evaluate each enquiry technically and commercially in order to offer the correct product(s) to meet the customer requirements.

· You will be supporting clients, external sales team and Global Distributors

· You will ensure they are updated on projects and will provide quotations, costings and information to secure potential orders.

· You will be working closely with production and purchasing to ensure clients receive the right products in time

· Prompt follow up of enquiries within designated area to successful or final conclusions to maximise order intake.
