We are currently recruiting for a brand and communications officer to support the development and execution of marketing activity to promote our brand and develop our business for the future.


The brand and communications officer plays an important role in promoting the organisation to existing and new audiences.

Key activities include:

·website update

·implementing a SEO continuous improvement strategy

·developing and implementing a social media strategy

·sending e-shots via mailchimp

·designing and developing marketing collateral using InDesign

·producing short videos for use on the website and in social media

Therefore, we are looking for knowledge and experience across a range of digital platforms.

The brand and communications officer role offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead the development and implementation of digital communications at AIM Awards. You will work closely with the brand and communications lead and the director of business engagement to raise the profile of the organisation. You should be an excellent communicator and team player with the ability to build strong working relationships in order to identify news stories and testimonials and encourage, train and support internal staff with social media skills.

You will demonstrate a passion for all things digital and an interest in identifying the latest trends and developments. You should be a natural researcher, a keen communicator, have excellent writing and editing skills and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have experience of using a cms, running digital campaigns, producing digital content and creating marketing collateral with InDesign. Experience in event management would also be an advantage.

A proactive and enthusiastic approach to marketing communications is key to this role. You should value accuracy and efficiency in your work, with the ability to be consistent in delivering attention to detail. Time management is essential within this role in order to meet deadlines.

This is an ideal position for a new digital marketing graduate or someone with at least one year's experience in a similar role.

Minimum requirements are:

·extensive knowledge of digital marketing practices

·experience of writing, delivering and evaluating digital content

·experience of working with a cms

·experience of designing marketing collateral using InDesign

·an excellent proof-reader and editor

·experience of video production

·experience of working with photoshop

·experience of writing and sending e-shots/e-newsletters vie Mailchimp (or similar email marketing service)
