1st/2nd Line Support Engineer (BAU/Project)

An expanding IT consultancy provider based in Maidstone seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated support technician to join the team. Our client specialises primarily in providing IT support services and Networking solutions to a wide range of businesses and market sectors.

Role & Responsibilities:
The role will predominately be working as a member of a team on our Technical Services Desk providing remote support to customers. The role may also be required from time to time to visit client's sites.
• Troubleshooting hardware/software problems onsite & remotely
• Configuring new equipment
• Ability to produce detailed documentation.
• System monitoring and configuration changes.
• Working and updating call management system.
• Assist with Projects for our clients

Essential Skills & Experience:
• Microsoft Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2 Standard and Essentials Operating Systems.
• Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013 and 2016.
• Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Administration
• Active Directory administration.
• Microsoft Windows 7,8 and 10 Operating Systems.
• Microsoft Office 2010,2013 and 2016
• Experience and understanding of Router technologies.
• VPN, Firewalls and WAN's.
• Good understanding of networking.
• Backup Technologies.
• Full driving license.

•£18,000-£21,000 basic salary
