My client, a global organisation of some repute based in West London has a new opportunity for an accountant to join them on a one - year FTC.

The role of the accountant will be responsible for dealing with day-to-day accounting transactions accurately in a timely manner and handling the queries/requests from external/internal auditors and support the Director across a variety of projects.

Responsibilities;

• Undertake the due diligence for current/potential customers (Disk/Digital/License) by analysing the latest Financial Statement information;

• Maintain and monitor the debtors' ageing list and report to the relevant department to ensure no bad debts arise;
• Be responsible for sales transactions including cost management.

• Be responsible for whole license transactions ranging from raising the invoices to cash collection;

• Prepare the royalty reports and submit them to Headquarter/group companies on time.

• Assist the Director with several taxation matters (Corporation tax/VAT/Withholding tax /PAYE Settlement Agreement); • Review the APA (Advance Pricing Agreement) /TP (Transfer Pricing) study documents to ensure they are adequately prepared.

• Keep up with the latest accounting standards (IFRS) and comply with them to deal with several accounting transactions in order to get the clean audit result;

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions including Inter-company transactions.

• Deal with several enquiries/requests from external auditors during the year-end audit in order to get the clean audit result;

• Interact closely with other departments to ensure any new transactions/matters are handled smoothly;

• Monitor and analyse department's work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy;

• Deal with ad-hoc projects when/as necessary.

AAT/ACCA/ACA/US CPA or other equivalent accounting qualification would be advantageous.
