Job Purpose

Management of all aspects of the site maintenance and breakdown response to ensure the site operation is maintained at all times in a safe and effective manner and is compliant with all current statutory requirements.

An ideal candidate would be willing to re-locate to within 30 mins travel to site, for possible on call engineer duties.

Due to the nature of the site candidates must be aware that a high level of Security Clearance will be required prior to starting.
Candidates will need to provide evidence of 10 years+ British Citizenship or British Naturalisation to be successfully appointed.

Responsibilities
  • To assist the Site Manager to meet his contractual obligations.
  • To ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is delivered safely, to specification, on time and that complies with statutory requirements.
  • To ensure all contractors comply fully with the company H&S policy and the law.
  • To partake in the electrical AP out-of -hours on-call service rota.
  • Management of all aspects of the contractual maintenance activity, including the site Electrical Safety Testing Programme.
  • Day to day line management and supervision of the maintenance team personnel, including tasking, appraisals, resource planning etc.
  • To ensure that all team members are familiar with and comply with Interserve Safety Instructions.
  • Liaison with customers, external contractors and consultants on all maintenance issues.
  • The asset and PPM management for the site via the CAFM tool Maximo, including updating, amending and completing work orders on the system.
  • Identification of items for inclusion in the Forward Maintenance Register (FMR).
  • Liaison with the Small Works Project Manager as required.
  • To deputised effectively for the Site Manager in his absence
  • Undertake any other duties over and above those listed, within reason, as directed by the Site Manager.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
  • Recognised Engineering Qualification - HND / BTEC Level
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • ILM Level 3
  • IT literate - fully familiar with MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of water treatment requirements
  • Experience of HVAC systems
  • Experience of standby power systems
  • Have the ability to use resources effectively and economically
Person
  • Ability to hold Electrical Authorised Person status
  • Current Driving License
