We are a property development company based in Weybridge. We are recruiting an accounts/office assistant to help with the running of the business.

Knowledge of sage not essential but would be beneficial.

Duties
  • Invoice processing (including property utilities and council tax)
  • Supplier payments, sending remittances
  • Creditor/debtors lists
  • Payroll
  • Staff expenses
  • Costing Reports
  • Management of outgoing direct debits
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier account reconciliations
  • Raise invoices/cross charging internal companies
  • Banking Queries
  • Debtor Queries
  • Project reports
  • Contractor CIS payments
  • Contractor CIS statements
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Banking cheques
  • Completing credit account forms
  • Management of fuel cards
  • Filing
  • Management of direct debits and standing orders
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Chasing up invoices after pro-forma payment
  • Chasing suppliers if amended invoices are needed
  • Any other adhoc duties when required
  • Answering telephone
  • Incoming and outgoing post (management of franking machine)
  • Ensuring office is tidy and presentable
  • Answering door - providing visitors with refreshments and taking deliveries
  • Liaising with facility companies, water company, cleaners, maintenance etc
  • Stationary ordering
  • Mobile phone management
  • Ensuring property utilities are closed upon sale of property (QS to provide meter reads)
  • Any other adhoc duties when required
