A Payroll Administrator is required for a prestigious organisation in Winchester on a permanent basis. This role offers flexible working hours, fantastic transport links and end-to-end payroll exposure. This role would suit a Payroll Administrator who is comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and looking to widen their current payroll experience within a supportive team.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing weekly, monthly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, quarterly and annual payrolls
  • Creating reports & submitting pension returns
  • Action starter / leavers
  • Action statutory payments in accordance with HMRC - SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, ShPP
  • Monthly payroll reconciliation
  • Managing online portals, starters & leavers
  • Assisting with administration
  • Year-end submissions

What you will need:

  • The following experience: Accounts Administrator / Finance Administrator / Payroll Administrator / Payroll Clerk / Payroll Admin / Payroll Supervisor.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of the following systems: Star (preferable), Sage, Payrite or SAP
