Are you an experienced IT Service Desk Engineer looking for your next move?

Due to the growth and success of our client based in Manchester, they are now looking for an IT Service Desk Engineer to act as a single point of contact for all IT related requests.

It is an established tech-driven business, with great reputation across the UK and internationally. You will join the technical support team reporting into the IT Service Desk Manager and will be working in accordance with ITIL practices to provide accurate recordings of incidents, changes and requests.

Responsibilities:
  • Solving 1st and 2nd line incidents
  • Ensuring logged tickets are dealt with effectively
  • Escalating incidents to 3rd line Analysts where appropriate
  • Logging calls with 3rd parties and incident management
  • Timely progression of all incidents / requests ensuring SLA's are met
  • Tracking of all incidents and escalation where appropriate and closure of incidents on confirmation from the customer of satisfactory resolution
  • Installation and configuration of IT equipment

Experience in administering, managing, maintaining and troubleshooting some of the following technologies is desirable:

Exchange Server (2013/2016), Windows Server 2013, 2016, Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix and VMware. You will be expected to support Microsoft technologies so MCP, MCSA, MCITP would be advantageous.
