Job Title: Mortgage and Protection Adviser

Location: Office based in Colchester CO3 or Peterborough PE8

Division: IMH

Target: CeMAP or equivalent qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser. (Min 2 Years' Experience.)

Rewards:12 month minimum salary guarantee of £40,000 (or more depending on strength and experience of candidate). Genuine £55K+ OTE*, with a basic salary of £30K Plus commission and benefits package*.

Working Hours: (Permanent, Full Time Role) Mon-Fri working two early shifts 9AM-6PM and three late shifts 11AM-8PM weekly.

Timeline:Immediate interviews with a 04/11/19 start date.

In 2018 we handled over 12,000 mortgage applications. Our Helpline team and Mortgage and Protection Advisers have considerable knowledge and experience of mortgage products that are particularly geared towards the new homes market, as well as having established relationships with key mortgage lenders. As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser at IMH, we believe your skills and experience are best suited to focusing purely on the provision of quality advice and sales to our customers. The work of contacting customers, securing appointments and the progressing of the mortgage applications is therefore the sole remit of our dedicated Adviser Support team. This is a telephone based role so you will be articulate and engaging. You will be writing in excess of 20 mortgages per month so you will also be highly motivated and organised. You will also have a strong track record in mortgage and protection sales. Full CeMAP or equivalent is of course essential.

Mortgage and Protection Adviser responsibilities:

No Cold Calling required, you will be provided with appointments scheduled throughout your working week.

Arrange mortgage and mortgage related products on behalf of The New Homes Group customers.

Ensure all leads are followed up and managed in a timely manner.

Undertaking telephone fact-finding and mortgage & protection related advice.

Diligent and focused on providing the highest level of mortgage advice to customers

Following our purpose built mortgage sales process, ensuring full compliance at all times.

To meet and maintain all compliance standards with in our competency guidelines.

Focused on agreed sales targets and key performance indicators.

Ensure that requirements of the Training & Competency Scheme are met.

Keep up to date with products changes and regulatory requirements.

Ensure that all current regulation guidelines are met, including GDPR, and anti-money laundering.

Ad hoc duties as and when required by the Directors and Management Team.

Smart and well presented at all times, portraying a professional image.

Outgoing, Ambitious and self-motivated.

The ability to thrive in a pressurised environment.

Required Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format.

Minimum of 2 years demonstrable mortgage and protection sales experience.

Full CeMAP mortgage qualification or equivalent.

Experience of Financial Services sales and an understanding of compliance regulations.

Highly competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
