Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Field based
Salary: Competitive plus car allowance

Our client are an International Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organisation managing its customers' indirect material spend via an integrated e-procurement platform. Their client list includes multinational organisations such including high end automotive manufacturers to global pharmaceutical manufacturers to leading food manufacturers.

Their offering in the market is unique - this is why they continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. They have more than doubled in size over the last six years, growing their turnover from £84m to £300m.

In 2017 they acquired another business and recently moved into new premises to accommodate the growth. Headquartered in Warrington (Birchwood) but with over 350 stores across the UK, Europe and Singapore and recently expanded into Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Slovakia.

As a result of the growth, we are now looking a strong Continuous Improvement Manager to join them, ideally with a background in Manufacturing or Procurement.

Role Definition
Responsible to drive, develop and evaluate current quality and efficiency standards within the Operational and Functional areas of the business, in order to maintain and improve Operational Excellence, Quality and Safety, Health and Environment

Job Description
Work with CI Team, Client Management Team and SSC team to deliver projects, On Time In Full (OTIF) to the strategic priorities and goals
Display the right CI behaviours to inspire all levels of colleagues to drive continuous improvement culture in their areas
Identify opportunities for process improvement and deliver CI Projects end to end with quantifiable benefits
Ensure all projects and benefits are tracked and reported accurately & on time.
Deliver CI Champion workshop training and facilitate CI Champion Projects
Ability to apply lean tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, Task Analysis to solve business issues and non-conformance
Support Head of Continuous Improvement on Project execution and ISO Audits as required
Support with completion of OpEx & Risk assessments as required

Skills and Experience required:

Lean or Six Sigma qualification
NEBOSH / IOSH qualification desirable
ICT advanced skills - Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
A Positive Attitude

Strong Organisational skills
Strong Analytical skills
Intellectually strong with demonstrable problem solving skills
Possesses a Driven Leadership style with a resilience to overcome business issues
Superior interpersonal and influencing skills, together with a persuasive communication style
Advanced presentation skills
Please note that this role will require travel and occasional overnight stays, therefore a degree of flexibility will be required
